Binding Method
Saddle stitch is available only for books with small page counts (20 - 48). Saddle stitch is a bindery method where sheets are layered, folded down the middle, laid over a “saddle”, then stapled.
Perfect bound is a high-performance bindery method that bonds individual sheets using a cured PUR adhesive inside a cover that folds into a durable and seamless square spine. This method is industry standard and is appropriate for all page counts.
Case bound is a bindery method that bonds individual sheets to fabric headbands using a cured PUR adhesive. This high performance method is our standard for hardcover books and is appropriate for all page counts.
Smyth sewn is recommended for hard-cover books over 200 pages. This bindery method combines PUR adhesive bonding and sewn binder thread to deliver added spine flexibility and strength.
